Orthotics Lab Shipping Across Canada

With a traditional lab, every order ships twice: the impression travels to the lab, then the finished orthotics travel back. With Orthix digital orders, the first leg is gone.

• To the lab: in the Orthix app you complete the online assessment, capture both feet on a phone or iPad, the app generates a 3D model, and you submit. The order reaches our lab when you press submit. There's no box to pack and no courier to book.
• Back to your clinic: once your orthotics are made, we ship them to the clinic address on your Orthix account, anywhere in Canada.

Foam impressions are also accepted as a secondary option. If you send them, allow for courier time to the lab before review can start.

1. Register your clinic. Your clinic profile holds your shipping address.
2. Complete the online assessment and capture both feet in the app.
3. Review the 3D model the app generates, then submit.
4. The lab reviews the order and accepts it.
5. Your orthotics are made in our Vancouver lab. Typical fabrication is 5–10 days after lab acceptance.
6. We ship them to your clinic. Track the order in the app.
7. Fit them at your patient's appointment.

Shipping time starts when your orthotics leave the lab. It comes after production: typical fabrication is 5–10 days after lab acceptance. Timelines are estimates unless Orthix confirms a date in writing (Terms).

Turnaround is production plus shipping. When you book a patient's fitting appointment, allow for both: typical fabrication of 5–10 days after lab acceptance, plus the shipping time to your clinic. Our guide to orthotics lab turnaround time shows how to track each part across your next 20 orders.

Shipping is $8 per parcel/per orthotic for clinics placing 1–20 orders in a month, and free for clinics placing 21 or more orders in a month, as set out in our Terms. • We ship to the clinic address on your Orthix account. Keep it up to date to avoid delays.
• Make sure someone can receive parcels during business hours.
• Check each parcel when it arrives, and report visible damage or missing items to us within five business days.
• Carrier delays and weather are outside our control, but we'll help you raise a claim with the carrier where appropriate.
• We ship to clinics and practitioners only, never directly to patients.
